Guanacastillo Mennonite Fellowship is located in Masay, [[Nicaragua]]. The church originated outreach efforts by leaders from the Mennonite Christian Fellowship in Costa Rica to plant a congregation in Nicaragua. Gerald Yoder, Allan Miller and Eli Hershberger were among those who made exploratory trips into Nicaragua.
