The Greenfarm Mennonite Brethren Church, located at Greenfarm, originally Bergfeld, near Herbert, Saskatchewan, organized in 1913 under the initiative of J. W. Thiessen. During the first years the church services were held in the public school. In 1917 a revival took place and 20 members were added to the church. The following year a church building was erected. J. W. Thiessen was succeeded by Johann Thiessen and Isaac P. Penner.
In 1950 there were 58 members. The congregation dissolved in 1961. It had been affiliated with the Canadian Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches.
