The Greenfarm Mennonite Brethren Church, located at Greenfarm, originally Bergfeld, near Herbert, [[Saskatchewan (Canada)|Saskatchewan]], organized in 1913 under the initiative of J. W. Thiessen. During the first years the church services were held in the public school. In 1917 a revival took place and 20 members were added to the church. The following year a church building was erected. J. W. Thiessen was succeeded by Johann Thiessen and Isaac P. Penner.
