Grass Ranch Hutterite Colony in Kimball, South Dakota was founded in 1990 (Hofer says 1992) as a division from the Platte Hutterite Colony. In 2017 Grass Ranch Hutterite Colony was a Schmiedeleut Group 2 colony.
