Peter Glasmacher (also Huisman), of Telgte, Westphalia, Germany, was anAnabaptist bishop who was active in Liege in 1533 and later in Unna, Westphalia (Keller, 261 ff.). In 1537 he was arrested by the Bishop of Münster with a group of Anabaptists. Among them was Johannes Hasenvot, whose testimony has been preserved. Hasenvot had come from the Anabaptists in Soest to establish contact with the brethren in Telgte and Wesel. The Münsterite Peter von Noerich (also Gerhard Eilkeman) named Peter Glasmacher in a trial in 1544 as one of his associates who was also known as "Beichtvater" and had lived for a while in Ibbenbüren.
