Friedrichsgraben (West Prussia)

Friedrichsgraben, a district in the Lubianer Niederung, West Prussia, Germany, where Mennonites lived about 1740. They soon left this region because of repeated floods, which made living and farming there impossible. Of their activity the "Mennonitendamm" still bears evidence.
