Faith Mennonite Church (Greensburg, Kansas, USA)
Faith Mennonite Church (General Conference Mennonite) is located one mile west and 3.5 miles south of Greensburg, Kiowa County, Kansas. After conducting Sunday school and church services in a schoolhouse for about two years under the leadership of Dennis Smith, the congregation organized in 1948 with 18 charter members and joined the Western District Conference. Curt D. Boese, the first resident pastor, began his full-time service on 1 September 1950. A frame church with full basement was built and dedicated on 27 July 1952. In 1955 the membership was 35, with Vernon Lohrentz as pastor. The congregation closed in 1962; a few members joined the Greensburg Mennonite Church (Mennonite Church)
