Evergreen Church of God in Christ Mennonite Church (Scio, Oregon, USA)
The Evergreen Church of God in Christ, Mennonite congregation near Scio, Oregon, USA was established in 1958. The congregation started when families from Winton, California began to move to the area in 1957. Sunday school was first organized on 4 August 1957.
Initially, families engaged in farming, but by the 1990s, most were employed in sawmills, logging, cabinet shops, mobile home manufacturing, and truck driving.
The congregation formally organized on 4 February 1958. Initially, the group met in homes and later in the Queener School. In 1960 the congregation built its own church facility a half-mile south of Scio; the first service was held on 25 December 1960. Additions to the building took place in 1964 and 1974/75.
The Evergreen Mennonite School began in 1976 in the church's social room. In 1993/94, a new school building was erected next to the church.
In 2020 the congregation was part of the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite. The ministers were Francis Toews, Joshua Newsome, and Denver Unruh.

Evergreen Church of God in Christ Mennonite Church, in the small town of Scio, Linn County, Oregon, is located 2½ miles southwest of Stayton. In 1958 it had 19 members. It was listed first in the Yearbook (CGC) for 1958.
