David Epp, according to the Katalog der Kirchenbibliothek der Mennonitengemeinde zu Danzig (Danzig, 1869), was the son of the Heubuden (West Prussia) preacher D. Epp (David Epp, preacher 1817-62?), and author of Geistliche Lieder. Herausgegeben nach dem Tode des Verfassers (Marienburg, 1841). Only copy known was in the Danzig library.
