Whereas in Augsburg those who permitted Anabaptist meetings to be held in their homes had their cheeks burned through with irons, Susanna Doucher as an expectant mother escaped this inhuman treatment, but was expelled from the city. What became of her is not known. |

Susanna Doucher (Daucher, Ducher) was a member of the Augsburg Anabaptist congregation, step-daughter of the Augsburg sculptor Adolf Doucher (Bode in Jahrbuch der pr.
