Dauber, Hans (16th century)

Hans Dauber (Tauber) of Illingen, Württemberg, an Anabaptist, had won a following in Illingen and was arrested, probably in 1581. He was in prison continuously at least until 1617, 1581-82 in Maulbronn, 1582-88 in Hohenurach, 1588-1617 in Hohenwittlingen. In Hohenwittlingen Simon Kress was also long in confinement.
