Cornerstone Fellowship Church (Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada)

The Swift Current Evangelical Mennonite Church began services in 1958, and formally organized in 1962. The first building was occupied in 1960, with a subsequent building program in 1972. Cornie Plett is considered the founding leader of the group. The congregation originated through division from Sommerfelder Mennonites over utilization of revival ministry.

In 1965 there were 61 members; in 1975, 101; in 1985, 152; in 1995, 158; in 2000, 152. The congregation has been affiliated with the Evangelical Mennonite Conference. The language of worship is English; the transition from German occurred in the 1960s.

The congregation's address is 2150 Walker St. E., Swift Current, SK, S9H 4C1. (306) 773-2678. Pastor Mel Koop served in 2001 as a congregational leader.
