The Swift Current Evangelical Mennonite Church in Swift Current, Saskatchewan began services in 1958, and formally organized in 1962. The first building was occupied in 1960, with a subsequent building program in 1972. Cornie Plett is considered the founding leader of the group. The congregation originated through division from Sommerfelder Mennonites over utilization of revival ministry.

The language of worship is English; the transition from German occurred in the 1960s.

In 2004 the congregation changed its named to Cornerstone Fellowship Church.
