Cornelis Willemsz (d. 1535)
Cornelis Willemsz (Willemsse), an Anabaptist martyr of Haarlem, Dutch province of North Holland, by trade a trunk-maker or maker of rush bottoms for chairs, was beheaded at Amsterdam on 6 March 1535, with eight brethren. He was rebaptized, but did not repent of it, "because one should not act contrary to the Scriptures of God."
