Coquitlam Chinese Mennonite Church (Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada)
Coquitlam Chinese Mennonite Church was started around 1990. The Conference of Mennonites in British Columbia had agreed to plant a church in the Coquitlam area. After a survey was done, it was learned that Coquitlam had only one Chinese church. Albert Kwan from Hong Kong began working as a church planter in 1991. In May 1992 the church began to rent the facilities of the Blue Mountain Baptist Church.
It was difficult to begin the church from scratch, and Albert resigned in February 1993. The church ceased to be a conference project in 1993. The congregation was also known as Coquitlam Chinese Fellowship.
