Commonitio ofte Waerschouwinge, aen de Vlaemsche Doopsgesinde Gemeynte binnen Amsterdam
Commonitio ofte Waerschouwinge, aen de Vlaemsche Doopsgesinde Gemeynte binnen Amsterdam (Admonition to the Flemish Mennonite Congregation of Amsterdam, no place of publication indicated, 1665) is a six-page pamphlet. The anonymous author calls himself a Voorstander, je een Lidtmaet der selve Gemeynte (a member of this church). Some of the ministers of this church, he says, do not teach the way, that is, Christ in the right way; e.g., Galenus Abrahamsz, David Spruyt, and Frans Beuns. They are looked upon as Socinians, and the author thinks this is likely the truth; he explains why he thinks so, examining the sermons delivered by Galenus and Spruyt. At the end of his booklet the author demands that they answer without ambiguity seven questions which he puts.
