The Clyde Park Mennonite Church (Mennonite Church), now extinct, 70 miles (115 km) south of Calkins, Montana, was organized into a congregation with eight members on 12 November 1921, by Bishop I. S. Mast. John Hochstetler filled the pulpit twice a month until the spring of 1924 when he moved there, remaining until the group left in 1926. Thirty-five was the largest membership. Hard times due to uncertain crops and the depression were the reasons given for discontinuing the work. They worshiped in a rented Methodist church four miles east of Clyde Park, Park County, Montana.
