Clark County Old Order Mennonite Settlement (Wisconsin, USA)

The Clark County, Wisconsin, Groffdale Conference Mennonite settlement was started in 1974 by Amos Sauder, Paul W. Sauder and Ruth W. Sauder. In 1977, the small group held meetings in a house which they named Popple River. This system was discontinued when the small house became overcrowded. In 1980 their meetings were held on Martin N. Hoover's farm and this location was named Curtiss. However, by the end of 1980 this system was also terminated. As of December 2010, this settlement had five meetinghouse locations and, as of 1 January 2011 included approximately 350 households.

Meadow Brook Old Order Mennonite Meetinghouse

The Meadow Brook meetinghouse is a wood frame meetinghouse which is 49 feet by 67 feet in size. It was built in 1977 along Willow Road. As of 1 January 2011 the following ministry team served the congregation--the presiding bishop was Elvin M. Fox (ordained minister, 2004; bishop, 2009). The ministers were John F. Zeiset (ordained 1976) and Henry G. Burkholder (ordained 1999). The deacon was Leon Z. Shirk (ordained 1977). 

Sunny Ridge Old Order Mennonite Meetinghouse

The Sunny Ridge meetinghouse is a wood frame building located in the Curtiss area along Pelsdorf Road. It was erected in 1990 and measured 49 feet by 67 feet. As of 1 January 2011 the following ministry team served the congregation--the presiding bishop was Alvin N. Martin (ordained minister, 1980; bishop, 1986. The ministers were Mahlon K. Shirk (ordained 1987) and Roy N. Sauder (ordained 1995) The deacon was Lester Z. Martin (ordained 1991). 

Longwood Old Order Mennonite Meetinghouse

The Longwood meetinghouse is a wood frame meetinghouse located near the village of Longwood. It was built in 1994 along River Avenue. It was expanded in 2008 to the size of 49 feet by 93 feet. As of 1 January 2011 the following ministry team served the congregation--the presiding bishop was Alvin N. Martin, the ministers were Marvin N. Leid (ordained 1975) and Edwin S. Nolt (ordained 1994), and the deacon was Reuben M. Zimmerman (ordained 1996). 

Stanley Old Order Mennonite Meetinghouse

The Stanley meetinghouse is a wood frame building that was constructed in 2000 near the town of Stanley along Hixwood Road. Its measurements were 48 feet by 68 feet. As of 1 January 2011 the following ministry team served the congregation--the presiding bishop was Elvin M. Fox, the minister was Alvin S. Leid Jr. (ordained 2002) and the deacon was Marlin M. Brubacher (ordained 2002). 

Colby Old Order Mennonite Meetinghouse

Construction began on Colby Old Order Mennonite Meetinghouse in 2011. It is located along Eddy Road, and its size would be 56 feet by 80 feet. As of 1 January 2011 it had no ordained ministry.
