Claes Claesz of Monnikendam (d. 1535)

Claes Claesz of Monnikendam, Dutch province of North Holland, an Anabaptist, was put to death at Amsterdam, 6 March 1535. On 10 January of this year he had bought weapons at Amsterdam. Obviously he belonged to the revolutionary wing of Anabaptism.
