Civilian Public Service Unit (Vineland, New Jersey, USA)

Vineland Training School was the location of Civilian Public Service Unit No. 92 from 28 March 1943, to 14 June 1946. The unit, operated by the Mennonite Central Committee, consisted of 16 men in 1945 who did maintenance and farm work as well as serving as orderlies and attendants. The school had a population of 550 mentally deficient children.
