Church for the Needy (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA)

The Church for the Needy in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, began in 2010 as an English-speaking outreach of the Vietnamese Mennonite Church to people who lived near the church.

By 2013, the congregation was assisting in finding jobs, holding an after-school program for children, and providing showers for homeless people who lived on the street. In 2014, the congregation purchased and renovated a House of Hope as transition housing for the needy.

In 2017, the congregation shared fellowship meals after the Sunday service. In 2019, Sunday morning attendance was about 35.
