Chula Old Order Mennonite Settlement (Missouri, USA)

The Chula settlement of the Groffdale Old Order Mennonite Church began in 2006 as an outreach from the original Morgan-Moniteau settlement. It is located in Livingston County near the town of Chula, Missouri, and lies about 150 miles (241 km) northwest of the Morgan-Moniteau community. As of 1 January 2011, this settlement had no meetinghouse, but had two ministers and a deacon. The ministers were Nevin H. Nolt (ordained 2002) and Harry N. Leinbach (ordained 2009), and the deacon was Edwin K. Shirk (ordained 1994), The Chula congregation had 16 heads of households as of 1 January 2011.
