Christian Service Foundation, Inc. (Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA)
Christian Service Foundation, Inc. (CSF), Fort Wayne, Indiana, is a nonprofit organization serving the entire Evangelical Mennonite Church (Fellowship of Evangelical Churches since 2003) by offering financial help to local churches for building projects, loans and scholarships to students in higher institutions of learning, and also personal loans when funds are available.
The Foundation was incorporated 3 October 1949 with an asset base of $6,000. By 2009 assets had grown to $20,000,000, and assistance had been loaned to 34 church plants and established congregations for building projects. In 2009 the Reuben Short Scholarship program operated by CSF awarded over $30,000 in scholarships to students from Fellowship of Evangelical Churches who attended Christian universities and Bible colleges.
