Central Valley Fellowship (Bradner, Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada)

The Central Valley Fellowship began services about 1984 in Bradner, British Columbia. Murray Philips was considered the founding leader of the group. The congregation originated through outreach by individuals as an inter-Mennonite effort.

The group arose out of Bible studies at Bakerview Mennonite Brethren Church. There was debate over whether or not to establish the group as a formal church. It was interested at one point in joining Mennonite Central Committee rather than any one of the Mennonite conferences. The group was originally known as Bradner Fellowship and was an unaffiliated congregation.
