Cedar Grove Hutterite Colony in Platte, South Dakota was founded in 1972 as a division from the Bon Homme (South Dakota) Hutterite Colony. In 2017 the Cedar Grove Hutterite Colony was a Schmiedeleut Group 2 colony.

Goldenview Hutterite Colony (Salem, South Dakota, USA) is as daughter colony.
