Bremen Mennonite Church ([[Mennonite Church (MC)|Mennonite Church]]), northeast of Bourbon, Marshall County, [[Indiana (USA)|Indiana]], was organized in 1962 under the [[Indiana-Michigan Mennonite Conference (Mennonite Church USA)|Indiana-Michigan Mennonite Conference]] by Richard Yoder, pastor at [[North Main Street Mennonite Church (Nappanee, Indiana, USA)|North Main Street Mennonite Church]] in Nappanee, Indiana. The congregation purchased a building and became Bourbon Mennonite Chapel in 1964. It joined the Indiana-Michigan Mennonite Conference in 1965 under the leadership of pastor Bob Gerber. Subsequent pastors included Marvin Stutzman, Joe Deiner, and Don Miller. On September 29, 1996, the congregation changed its name to New Wine Church and withdrew from the Indiana-Michigan Mennonite Conference, citing differences in interpretation regarding the authority of scripture.
