Born, Feike (d. 1886)
Feike Born was appointed to the ministry 20 May 1850 in the Mennonite congregation at Drachten and Ureterp in the Dutch province of Friesland. He moved to Joure on 3 December 1854, and died there on 14 April 1886. On 27 October 1861 he delivered an address for the newly founded congregation at Wolvega, which was published under the title, De Gemeente van Christus Gods gebouw (Leeuwarden, 1862). In addition he published Krijgsroep tegen den Krijg (Joure, 1870); Leiddraad bij de opleiding der Rinderen tot godsdienst en zedelijkheid (Joure, 1878; second edition 1880 in Assen); Vragen tot voorbereiding voor de Belijdenis in eene Doopsgezinde Gemeente (Assen, undated; a second edition followed).
