Bonneyville Mennonite Church (Bristol, Indiana, USA)
The Bonneyville Mennonite Chapel, Bristol, Indiana, began in 1962 when 36 members withdrew from First Mennonite Church in Middlebury to launch a new congregation. Galen Johns, then the secretary of the Indiana-Michigan Mennonite Conference, served as the first minister.
The congregation dedicated a new meetinghouse on 28 July 1963.
Bonneyville Mennonite began hosting a preschool in its facilities in 1980.
The congregation suffered a stunning loss when its pastor, Ken Livengood, died in a motorcycle accident in 2003.
On 15 January 2023, the congregation voted to dissolve because its membership numbers and financial resources were no longer sustainable. It held its final service on 26 March 2023.
