Blumenheim (also called Verbovskoye), a village in the Mennonite Brazol settlement in the Russian province of Ekaterinoslav (now Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine), district of Alexandrovsk, was founded in 1869, contained 3,360 desiatinas (about 9,000 acres), numbered (1911) 80 inhabitants and had a school attended (1911) by 20 children. In Blumenheim there had also been a Mennonite congregation with the same name since 1869, a subsidiary of the Lichtenau church.
