Blanchard Old Order Amish Settlement (Isabella County, Michigan, USA)

The Old Order Amish settlement near Blanchard, Isabella County, Michigan, USA, began in August 1983 when the Henry O. Miller and Glen H. Mast families moved to the area from Marietta, Ohio. By March 1985 the settlement included 13 families, mostly from Ohio Amish settlements. The settlement grew northwest into Mecosta County. The settlement increased to 18 families by 1989, but dropped to four families in 1999 as many families moved away.

However in 2000 more families began to move into the community, and by 2014 there were 60 families in three districts (congregations), with six schools.
