Bergen, a village in the Dutch province of North Holland, where on 19 November 1947 a Mennonite circle (Kring) was organized as a branch of the Alkmaar congregation. The circle numbered 80 members in 1953; it was self-directing. Meetings were held periodically in a Reformed church.
