Bechtel Preaching Appointment (South Waterloo, Ontario, Canada)
The Bechtel preaching appointment, located in Southern Waterloo Township, Ontario (presently the Cambridge, Ontario area) is listed in the 1858 Mennonite Conference of Ontario Calendar of Appointments as "Bechtel," South Waterloo. A "Samuel Bechtel" and "George Bechtel" appear in the 1837 Calendar. Preaching services were held every eight weeks, likely in a family residence.
