Barbele Gheerts (d. 1535)
Barbele Gheerts, an Anabaptist martyr, wife of Henrick van der Borcht, a hatter, born at Geldrop in the Dutch province of Brabant, was drowned together with Neelken Clercx in the Scheide at Antwerp on 16 March 1535.
