Bandung (Java, Indonesia)

Bandung (Bandungardjo) is the seat of a Mennonite congregation on the Indonesian island of Java, in the former territory of the Dutch Mennonite Mission Society. This congregation was organized in 1940 as an independent Javanese church. In 1949 the baptized membership was 64, while 34 children attended the Sunday school. After 1943 the assistant minister (not ordained) of this congregation was Mintohardjo.
