The Aylmer Old Order Amish West District began services about 1990. The congregation meets in homes. The congregation originated as a new district in the Aylmer settlement due to the increasing size of the congregation. The district is located three miles (five km) east of Aylmer, one mile (1.6 km) north of Highway 3. Bishop Peter Stoll served in 2001 as a non-salaried congregational leader. It has been affiliated with the Old Order Amish. The language of worship is German.
