In existence since 1974, this task force was the successor to the [[Konferenz süddeutscher Mennonitengemeinden|Konferenz pfälzisch-hessischer Mennonitengemeinden]] and the [[Mennonitische Hilfskasse (Germany)|Mennonitische Hilfskasse]]. The task force was made up of the [[Altleiningen/Pfalz Mennonitengemeinden (Altleiningen, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany)|Altleiningen]], [[Enkenbach (Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany)|Enkenbach]], [[Eppstein (Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany)|Eppstein]], [[Friedelsheim (Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany)|Friedelsheim]], [[Ibersheim (Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany)|Ibersheim]], [[Kohlhof (Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany)|Kohlhof]], Kühbörnscheshof, [[Ludwigshafen (Rhineland-Pfalz, Germany)|Ludwigshafen]], [[Monsheim (Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany)|Monsheim]], [[Neudorferhof (Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany)|Neudorferhof]], Obersülzen, [[Sembach (Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany)|Sembach]], [[Weierhof (Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany)|Weierhof]], and [[Zweibrücken (Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany)|Zweibrücken]] congregations (2,305 members). Its purpose was to work together in the encouragement and support of Christian and Mennonite faith in mission and social projects. A general business meeting was held once a year. The task force offered regular courses for volunteers, a yearly fellowship meeting, and a mission day. The preachers' conference took place six times a year and was attended not only by full-time church workers, but also by members of the board. Theological and administrative questions were discussed during these meetings. The organization owned the Mennonitenhaus in [[Kaiserslautern (Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany)|Kaiserslautern]], which was built by the [[Mennonite Central Committee (International)|Mennonite Central Committee ]] in 1956 and was used as retreat and conference center. In 1982, the task force began missionary work in cooperation with the [[Deutsches Mennonitisches Missionskomitee|Deutsches Mennonitisches Missionskomitee]] in Kaiserslautern.
