Annetgen Antheunis was tried on the rack on 20 February 1558 at Rotterdam because she adhered to the Anabaptist faith. She stated that she was 30 years old and was born at Buren in the Dutch province of Gelderland, and had been baptized in Rotterdam by Leenaert Bouwens. She was given a death sentence, but it is not known that the execution was performed.
