Annapolis Valley Church of God in Christ (Grafton, Nova Scotia, Canada)
The Annapolis Valley Church of God in Christ, Mennonite congregation in Grafton, Nova Scotia, Canada began as a mission outreach from individuals in the Northumberland congregation. In summer 1989 Missions Canada placed the Ron Wohlgemuth family from Ste. Anne, Manitoba in the Port Williams area. Freida Reimer served as their schoolteacher. In summer 1990 five families moved to the area.
Services were initially held in homes; in fall 1990 the group began to rent a community hall in Greenwich. In late 1991 and early 1992 properties were purchased in the Berwick area, and then the Berwick Community Hall was rented. Missions Canada sent Orville Friesen and family to provide leadership from 1991 to 1993. The Annapolis Valley congregation formally organized on 19 September 1991.
In 1994 the congregation bought four acres near Grafton and began building a church facility that fall.
In 2020 the congregation was part of the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite. The ministers were Les Goossen and Ron Wohlgemuth.
