Alberta Mutual Aid Society was a branch of the Alberta Mennonite Relief Society which in the 1950s provided fire and storm insurance for its members at the rate of 15 cents per $100.00 property value. It served both the Mennonite Brethren and General Conference Mennonite groups throughout Alberta. It incorporated in 1960 as the Mennonite Mutual Insurance Company (Alberta). In 2007 it had assets of $9.2 million with offices in Calgary and La Crete.
