Agape Community Fellowship of Marysville (Marysville, Ohio, USA)
Agape Community Fellowship of Marysville, Ohio, USA was formally organized in 2005 as a member of the Conservative Mennonite Conference. It was also part of a group of churches that form the Agape Community Fellowship, a collection of Christian churches that share the same vision and values. Each Agape church is led by a team of elders and consists of home groups that meet during the week.
The church initially supported the ministries of the Conservative Mennonite Conference network of churches, supporting the global administration, education (Rosedale Bible College) and mission (Rosedale Mennonite Missions) programs. However sometime after 2011 Agape identified itself as non-denominational, but an affiliate of Dove Christian Fellowship International.
Agape uses cell resources and training from Dove Christian Fellowship International and The Cell Group People (TouchUSA). Agape has been influenced by the vision and training at Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Anaheim, Indianapolis and Columbus, and people from Agape have continued to receive training from the Vineyard Leadership Institute.
In 2012 the Marysville Area Ministerial Association saw the need for a centralized location for the compassion ministries of their churches. Agape relocated to the Hope Center to be a spiritual support and presence for the ministries that were placed there by the area churches.
In 2012 Gene Miller was the pastor and the congregation's membership was 38.
