Washington County Mennonite Mutual Association (Wayland, Iowa, USA)

Washington County Mennonite Mutual Association of Wayland, Iowa, is a subsidiary of the Mennonite Aid Plan of Freeman, South Dakota, organized in 1950 to comply with the insurance laws of Iowa. Reinsurance is carried with the Freeman parent organization. It serves all Mennonites of Washington County and bordering counties with mutual fire and storm insurance. In 1953 it had 130 members, with a property coverage of $1,580,000.
