Life Centre, The (Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada)

In 2006 Bindu and Trish Sidhu began gathering people together who had a vision for an intentionally intercultural church in Abbotsford. Services began in fall 2006 with the assistance of the British Columbia (BC) Conference of Mennonite Brethren (MB) Churches. The congregation joined the BC MB conference in May 2007. In 2008 the congregation had an average Sunday attendance of 165, meeting at the Rick Hanson Secondary School, located in a predominantly Indo-Canadian area of Abbotsford. By 2010 the congregation had a membership of 68 and an average Sunday attendance of 190.
