Altmann family

Altmann is a Dutch Mennonite family. Cornelis Sybrand Altmann, b. 21 February 1881 at Rotterdam, who served six times as a deacon of the Rotterdam Mennonite congregation, should be mentioned as treasurer of the Hollandsch Doopsgezind Emigranten Bureau, who in 1924 ff. was very active in helping Mennonite refugees from Russia go to Brazil, and promoting the young colonies in this country by financial support.
