Mennonite Bible Fellowship (New Haven, Connecticut, USA)

The New Haven Bible Fellowship Center in New Haven, Connecticut, was established in 1969 as a result of a Voluntary Service (VS) unit introduced in 1966 by the Eastern Mennonite Board of Missions and Charities of the Lancaster Mennonite Conference. The Bible Fellowship held its first meeting on 25 May 25 1969, in a rented building on the corner of Rosette and Arthur streets. It was primarily used for youth work.

In 1974, the Mission Board purchased and renovated a building on Rosette Street to serve the young congregation even as the VS unit anticipated leaving in 1975. The new facility, located in an African American community, was dedicated on 20 April 1975.

Over time, the congregation used the name Mennonite Bible Fellowship.
