Pieter Hillebrantsz (d. 1539)
Pieter Hillebrantsz, an Anabaptist martyr, was beheaded on 10 January 1539, at Delft, Dutch province of South Holland, "because he had been rebaptized." Pieter, a "snydere van calckeren," which probably means that he was a tailor of Calcar (on the Rhine, Germany), was apparently a follower of David Joris.
