Siebrandt, David (1778-1851)

David Siebrandt, first elder of the Michalin (Gnadenberg) Mennonite Church, Galicia, was born at Kommerau on the Vistula River, 25 October 1778, a son of Heinrich Siebrandt. He was baptized in 1799. In 1811 he was married to Catarina Harms, daughter of Heinrich Harms. In the same year he was chosen minister and in 1816 elder. He died 1 July 1851.
