Mount Zion Mennonite Church in 2011.

The Mount Zion congregation at Millbank, Ontario began services about 1987. John Drudge is considered the founding leader of the group. The congregation originated through division from Crystal View Mennonite Church.

John Drudge first led a division from the Markham-Waterloo Mennonite Conference to form Crystal View Mennonite Church at Floradale, then left to form his own group.

In 1988 there were about 25 members, including children. The congregation has been an unaffiliated Mennonite congregation. The language of worship was English.

In the 1990s the congregation met at North Mornington Presbyterian Church. In 2000 they bought the the church building of the Salem Mennonite Fellowship eight km northwest of Milverton on the 12th line of Elma Township. Minister John Drudge continued as a congregational leader in 2011.
