Mennonite Aid Society of South Dakota

Mennonite Aid Society of South Dakota, a mutual aid fire and storm insurance association, was organized in March 1922 in Turner County, SD, its office relocated, before 1953, to Freeman, and it served all branches of Mennonites. In 1953 it served 241 members, chiefly General Conference Mennonites, with $2,000,000 of property covered.
