Gateway Community Church (Lower Saskville, Nova Scotia, Canada)
10 Beaver Bank Rd., Lower Sackville, NS, B4E 1G3. (902) 865-1731. Pastor Paul Francis served in 2002 as a congregational leader. In 1995 there were 29 members; in 2000, 71. The congregation has been affiliated with the Canadian Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches and General Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches. The language of worship is English.
The congregation began services in 1991 and formally organized in 1992. Paul and Kathy Francis are considered the founding leaders of the group. The congregation originated as an effort of the Board of Evangelism of the Canadian Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches. It meets in a converted fire hall.
Carman Webb became lead pastor of the church in 2012.
