St-Saphorin, François Pesme de (b. 1668)

François Pesme de St-Saphorin, a nobleman of the canton of Vaud, Switzerland, born 1668, of a prominent family of Geneva, who as the Swiss ambassador to Holland played a prominent part in the negotiations concerning the deportation of Bernese Mennonites to America in 1710.
